The Best Things to Do in Las Vegas
When you're ready to step away from the putting green and do something else, you'll find that Sin City has much to offer to the visitor, even to those who don't gamble. In fact, Vegas may be the only city where thrills, art and entertainment can all be found within minutes of each other.

Watch the Fountains at the Bellagio

The fountains at the Bellagio are located in the center of an eight-acre lake right next to the hotel. The fountain itself consists of 1,200 noozles and 4,500 lights, which are used to create a 15-minute choreographed musical show that can be seen every night. The noozles in the the fountain shoots water to different heights--including the so-called Extreme Shooters--with blasts as high as 460 feet.

Make it to the Top

The Stratosphere Tower offers some of the best views of Las Vegas, especially in the evening. As the tallest free standing tower in the United States, it offers views that include the whole Strip as well as the sprawling suburbs around. Once you're there, try one of the three thrill rides. The world's highest thrill ride, Big Shot, literally shoots you up 160 feet in the air. Insanity is a mechanical arm that reaches over the edge of the tower and spins riders with a force of 3 Gs. X-Scream, the latest addition to the tower, is a giant teeter-tooter that plummets riders 27 feet over the edge of the tower.

The tower also offers some of the most popular dining destinations on the Strip, including Top of the World, a revolving restaurant 800 feet in the air. There's also Roxy's Diner, a 50's style diner and several cafes.
