Cafe Sevilla
Located in the fun and exciting Gaslamp Quarter, Café Sevilla offers Spanish atmosphere with moderately-priced southwestern dishes. It is a tapas bar, meaning that entrees consist of several appetizers and small dishes making for an entirely unique experience every time you go in. There are drink specials every day, a full wine selection and dozens of beers on tap. There's several meats to choose from such as veal, lamb and beef and custom empanadas are prepared for patrons. Each small dish is inexpensive, ranging between $4 and $8 and plenty of vegetarian options are available for the non-meat eater in the group. It's a fun restaurant that blends Spanish cuisine with the American right to choose exactly what you eat and how much of it you want to eat.

Brigantine Seafood Restaurant
With San Diego being on the ocean, cuisine in San Diego begins and ends with seafood. That's why Brigantine Seafood Restaurant is a must if you're looking for quality seafood dining. Apart from several house wines, Spanish wines dominate the selection along with several beers and liquors imported directly from Mexico. The fish is so good that the owners of the restaurant, Mike Morton and Nick Vitalich coined the term "Catch of the day" back in the 1980s, a phrase that USA Today gives them credit for in a piece about seafood restaurants in San Diego. In addition to seafood, Brigantine offers USDA prime-aged steaks, Mexican food, and Nuevo Latino cuisine.
