Best Hotels to Stay At in Las Vegas
Vegas hotels keep it classy and exquisite whether you're looking to room on the Strip or on the outskirts of town. Golfers can find places to tee it up on the Strip or just minutes away while staying at a hotel in the region's golf hot spot.

Wynn Las Vegas

One of Steve Wynn's newest luxury casino resorts, the Wynn is regularly considered the strip's most elegant place to stay. There's nothing flashy about the outside of this 2,716-room hotel, but the inside is one of a kind--even for Vegas. Forget the fountain show at the Bellagio--the Wynn has Lake of Dreams, an enormous waterfall that dances into a three-acre lake with mountains serving as the backdrop. The saying is "Anything that you want or think you may want, the Wynn has it." The Wynn has more than a dozen A-list restaurants, three nightclubs and a golf course. The Wynn Golf and Country Club is the first and only course on the Strip. The Wynn is also the only hotel with a car dealership, Penske-Wynn Ferrari-Maserati.

The Venetian

There's just one downside to bunking at this world-class hotel: You might never want to leave. The Venetian has almost double the suites as the Wynn, with 4,049 rooms. The main attraction to this decade-old establishment is its fine dining. It has more than 20 restaurants, including Delmonico Steakhouse, Tao and Valentino. The five-star restaurants match the upscale shopping experience, complete with gondola rides to The Grand Canal Shoppes.

JW Marriott Las Vegas

Forget the strip: If you came to Vegas to golf, here's your destination. The desert resort offers all the amenities of a Strip luxury casino hotel, with one added perk--it's set dead smack in the middle of the region's best courses. It sits 15 minutes from the Strip and overlooks TPC Las Vegas. The hotel has an exclusive deal with the course and offers prime tee times and discounted rates and packages to the city's most renowned course. The hotel will also set golfers up with other prestigious courses in the area. In the evening, hit up one of the 11 restaurants or lay low in the 40,000-square-foot salon and spa.
