Tour the Strip
There's no better entertainment to be found in Las Vegas than the free shows offered at the mega-hotels on the Strip. For plenty of fun, take a walk down Las Vegas Boulevard and stop along the way to see some of the best shows. And these are all free. The must sees include the fountains and the conservatory at the Bellagio, the pirate show at TI (Treasure Island), the Grand Canal Shoppes and gondola rides at The Venetian, and the fountains and shopping at Caesars Palace. One less famous attraction is the "thunderstorms" in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, where overhead screens give the impression of an approaching storm. Then thunder, lighting and finally rain come crashing down. You don't get wet unless you want to, but this unusual attraction is well worth the trip.

Experience Fear Together
If thrills are what you're looking for, Las Vegas has much to offer. To be in the middle of ride-central action, head to the Stratosphere Tower, where you'll find the three tallest thrill rides in the world: a giant teeter-totter, a reverse bungee jump (which shoots 160 feet up above the ground) and a mechanical arm that spins you over the edge of the tower. Be prepared for lots of screams and long waiting lines.
Just outside the nearby city in Primm, you'll find Buffalo Bill's amusement park at Primm Valley Resort and Casino, which features the Desperado roller coaster, the largest drop of any coaster in the United States. Racing at 90 miles per hour around the casino, it has one of the longest tracks in the state, at 6,000 feet long.

Join a Mystery Adventure
This one-of-a-kind adventure doesn't have a specific location. Instead, you're chauffeured around in a white school bus to three different "crime scenes," where you and your partner are left (along with other couples or groups) to pick up clues, find special stones and solve a series of puzzles. Once everyone is done, you are moved to the next location and start trying to tie up loose ends and make sense of the overall puzzle. Games start at 7 p.m. and last as long as the group takes to find all the clues. This is basically a "Clue" game come to life. Prizes are awarded to those who solve the mystery and those who collect the most stones.
