If You Want an Extreme Experience
Las Vegas is a city of excess, so what better way to experience it all than go skydiving? If you're afraid of heights or simply not excited about the idea of jumping off a plane, this place offers you the chance to experience the feel of free-falling without the risks. At Vegas Indoor Skydiving, visitors will dress in a flight suit, don goggles and step into a vertical wind tunnel with a DC-3 propeller at the base. The fan, which generates winds of up to 120 mph, will send guests flying into the air, bouncing into the padded walls and falling down against the netted bottom and repeating the whole process again. Anybody who weighs more than 40 pounds can join in the fun and sessions are private, so you can choose to skydive with friends or family (or alone), but you'll never be asked to share the tunnel with strangers.

If You're Short on Money
Free entertainment is common in Las Vegas and you can find something to do even if you're not ready to spend any more money. Your first stop for free entertainment should be a casino lobby. Try the fountains at the Bellagio, the Sirens of TI at Treasure Island, the volcano or aquarium at the Mirage, or the circus acts at Circus Circus. You can take the Orleans and Gold Coast shuttle or the Mirage to Treasure Island monorail to connect the casinos. The ride is an experience in itself, especially at night, when the lights are brightest. Finish your evening with a stop at one of the casinos that has a free lounge, such as the Excalibur, MGM Grand or the Bellagio.

If You Want to Experience True Gambling
Las Vegas is, after all, the gambling capital of the world. Rather than throwing your money away at the tables or the slot machines, call any of the casinos on the Strip and ask about free gaming classes. These classes, offered every day, will match you with professionals to help you learn the basics of playing poker, pai gow, blackjack or craps. The classes last between one and three hours. Some allow more advanced players to join, so you'll have a chance to perfect your game as well.
