Best Las Vegas Hotels for Families With Children
Las Vegas is known for adult fun, from the casinos to the night clubs. But some Vegas hotels are extending their experience to the kids. Enjoying a ride on the lazy river with the family after a long day on the links may be the ticket.

Another is taking them to Vegas' many experiences. There are arcades, amusement rides and great food for the children when Mom and Dad are playing 18.

Excalibur Hotel and Casino

Excalibur Hotel and Casino keeps the kids' things in mind. The hotel has a large midway with games and a large arcade for children of all ages.

Besides the bevy of video and carnival games, Excalibur offers a SpongeBob SquarePants 4-D thrill ride. Some of the carnival games include basketball, the crane game, pinball and Skee-Ball.

Consider renting a parlor suite. This suite provides a kitchen (with refrigerator) and dining area. You can keep drinks and snacks cold for the kids and eat a family meal in the dining area.

Carnival and arcade games are available, but the major fun comes at the amusement park behind the hotel, Adventuredome Theme Park. The park features Rim Runner, a water ride: Canyon Blaster, an indoor double-loop, double-corkscrew roller coaster; and Frog Hopper and Miner Mike, two junior rides.

One amenity that Circus Circus offers is an RV park. The only RV park on the Strip, you can bring family and friends to the middle of the Strip with the comfort and style of vacation.

Golden Nugget Hotel

The Golden Nugget, on historic Fremont Street, is another fun water location for kids.

Off the Strip, the hotel offers a three-story water slide. There's also a shark tank that will enthrall the kids. Combine the two attractions to form a slide that tunnels you through the shark tank.

If sharks and water slides aren't for you, try the video arcade at Golden Nugget. Filled with games like pinball and air hockey, the arcade keeps the kids busy while you're on the links or in the casino.

Also, being on Fremont Street gives you an added option, the Fremont Street Experience. The Fremont Street Experience includes a pedestrian mall adjacent to the Golden Nugget. A laser light show on a barrel canopy is displayed a quarter-mile stretch along Fremont Street.
