Indigo Creek Golf Club
Indigo Creek is in Murrel's Inlet, right in the middle of Myrtle Beach's low country. When it opened in 1990, it was nominated as one of the country's best new courses. This beautiful course meanders through flowering creeks, and gigantic oak trees loom over the fairways. It is almost 6,800 yards from the champions' tees and has a high slope rating of 140. For as little as $50, you can play this course anytime after noon.

Burning Ridge Golf Course
Burning Ridge offers two courses that you can play anytime after noon for as little as $28. The west course has ponds on most of the 18 holes. But if you slice the ball, you get a reprieve because most of them are on the left side. The east course may have less water, but it makes up for it by being well-bunkered. Both the east and west courses measure about 6,700 yards from the back but east's slope rating is a manageable 114 while the west's is 124.
