Puerto Rico
Try Puerto Rico. Located in the north Caribbean, Puerto Rico has some of the most pleasant February weather around, especially for golf outings. Named as one of the best winter golf destinations by Golf Vacation Insider, Puerto Rico offers another advantage; it is a territory of the United States and thus does not require the use of a passport to enter or leave.
One of the best short courses in Puerto Rico is the Rio Bayamon Golf Course in Bayamon; a 9 hole 36 par course with reasonable green fees as well as a driving range and practice putting green.

Arizona
Book a trip to Arizona. Located in the American Southwest, Arizona's weather is usually scorching hot in the summer but mild in the winter, making Arizona a prime golf destination in February. Tucked in the middle of some of the most stunning desert landscapes, Scottsdale's golf courses offer some of the most majestic mountain and desert views in the country. McCormick Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale, for example, is a course studded with pine trees framing views of the mountains and better yet, offers reduced rate green fees--as low as $73--after 2 p.m. in February.

Palm Springs, California
Travel to Palm Springs. Named one of the best domestic places to play for 2008 and 2009 by Golf Digest, Palm Springs' Desert Willow Golf Course is one of the most popular golfing vacation destinations, especially in winter. The weather tends to be a little cool for native Californians, but is mild enough for out-of-state visitors, especially from snow-bound states. On top of that, green fees for the two championship-level courses are significantly reduced after 2 p.m.
