North Carolina is known for its barbecue, catfish, historical sites, hot summers, and yes, its golf courses. The town of Asheville, North Carolina has all these attractions and more, making it a popular getaway destination for golfers and their loved ones. The area's six public, private and municipal golf courses help keep visiting golfers busy during the day, and the area's many comfortable inns and hotels take care of them at night. No matter the budget or preferences, Asheville is likely to have the right overnight accommodation to any traveling golfer's needs.

Grove Park Inn Resort and Spa

The Grove Park Inn Resort and Spa is known for its grand, historic appearance, spa packages and its beautiful 18-hole golf course. The resort itself has a rich history, beginning in the 1890s, when it was built using granite boulders from the surrounding Sunset Mountains. The available rooms range from single queen rooms to several-room suites, but all guest accommodations include the Grove Park Inn's exclusive Kingsdown plush-top mattresses, and wireless internet access. The Suites at 151 are the place to be for cosmopolitan visitors who prefer to stay in the center of everything. These luxury downtown condos range from 1,500 to 2,285 square feet, and are available for both extended and short-term stays. The Grand Bohemian Hotel in Asheville provides a luxury hotel experience with authentic southern, old-world ambiance.
