Aviation Nation
Every November, Las Vegas serves as the backdrop for one of the most exciting air and space exhibitions in the country. Aviation Nation features dozens of planes, helicopters, jets and other aircraft that showcase American aeronautical technology from World War I to the present. Aircraft are piloted by the men and women serving at the Nellis Air Force Base just outside of the Las Vegas city limits.

Light the Night
The holiday season starts early in Las Vegas with the annual Light the Night spectacular, held at Ethel M Chocolates' Botanical Cactus Garden. At the beginning of each November, the state's largest cactus garden is adorned with thousands of twinkling lights that create a dazzlingly colorful and cheerful landscape. If you attend this free event, you can also stop by the adjacent Ethel M Chocolates' shop to pick out a few goodies to stash in your golf bag.

The Fremont Street Experience
The legendary Fremont Street Experience takes place every night of the year, but November's cool evenings make it the perfect time to enjoy the outdoor spectacle. Fremont Street, epicenter of Sinatra-era Las Vegas, is today covered by a gigantic electronic canopy that boasts 12.5 million lights. This enormous canopy displays hours of breathtaking light displays that are synchronized to music for a total sensory experience. It's free, and so are the concerts that take place frequently in the middle of the street.

Strut Your Mutt
Dog lovers won't want to miss this annual November event. Strut Your Mutt is a gathering of dogs and their owners that features canine performances, training demonstrations, pet supply shopping, multiple dog contests, food, music and more. The event benefits area pet rescue organizations, and admission is free with the donation of a bag of dog food, dog bed or other pet essentials.

November is also when the Motor Trend International Auto Show comes to town. This expansive auto exhibition takes over the Las Vegas Convention Center for a weekend and showcases the newest vehicles before they're available for sale. The Fountains at Bellagio
If you find yourself on The Strip, savor the mild November weather by catching the jaw-dropping dancing fountains in front of the Bellagio Hotel & Casino. These famous fountains whimsically dazzle onlookers with the accompaniment of classical and contemporary music. Fountain shows take place either every 15 or 30 minutes from early afternoon until midnight daily.
