Zeist--also known as "Slotstad" or "castle city" for its attractive castle--is a city located in the center of The Netherlands, six miles east of the city of Utrecht and thirty miles southeast of Amsterdam. The city is surrounded by forest, making it a good destination for walkers, and there are several golf courses nearby, including the 18-hole course at Utrecht Golfclub de Pan, which is just 1.5 miles away.
