Seattle has a host of historical and modern attractions such as the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park, the Seatte Waterfall Garden, Art Museum, and the Space Needle. The Interbay Golf Center on 15th Avenue offers guests a heated driving range and miniature golf, as well. Pike and 8th streets are at the heart of downtown Seattle and is teaming with shopping and fine restaurants. If your looking for an Italian restaurant in the Pike and 8th area, you'll have several choices.

Ristorante Machiavelli‎

Ristorante Machiavelli‎ is located just two and a half blocks from the intersection of 8th and Pike in Seattle. This moderately priced restaurant has been serving Northern Italian fare since it opened in 1988. Situated in the Capitol Hill district, Ristorante Machiavelli also serves cocktails in its cocktail lounge. The casual dining room setting is complete with soft lighting, wooden accents throughout, and warm hues of beige. This restaurant only serves dinner and reservations are not accepted as the seating is on a first-come-first-served basis. The dinner menu features pizza, pasta, and specialty entrees such as chicken liver lasagna, spinach ravioli, and just prawns, which is prawns in marinara sauce served with a side of spinach.

Barolo Ristorante

At 7th and Virginia, just four blocks from 8th and Pike, Barlo Risorante is an elegant dining establishment that seats guests in its classically designed dining room that is complete with white linen table cloths, floor-to-ceiling windows, dramatic curtains, candle lighting, and dark wood tables and booths. Reservations are recommended at this family-owned and operated location that serves traditional Italian cuisine. The wine list boasts 300 notable labels and the dinner menu lists entrées that include costolette di agnello all'amarone, which is New Zealand rack of lamb with cherries and amarone wine sauce, and risotto all'aragosta--simply Maine lobster tail risotto.

Rustica Ristorante Italiano‎ is four blocks from Pike at Spring, just across Interstate-5. This restaurant offers patrons a fine dining experience in a dining room complete with a rose-colored dome ceiling and fresh flowers throughout. Entrees include duck breast in berry sauce. Reservations are recommended.
