Big Rock Cabins
About 40 miles north of Lawrence are the Big Rock Cabins in Beaver, Ohio. Big Rock Cabins calls itself Ohio's "premier couples getaway." The traditional timber cabins have elevated porches with hot tubs and views overlooking the woods in which the cabins are situated. Indoors there are Norwegian fireplaces and large windows so guests can still enjoy the views inside. Nestled in 60 acres of woodlands, guests here enjoy privacy and seclusion as well as all the trails outdoors. Plus, just ten miles east in Jackson, Ohio there are two golf courses.

Fair Greens Country Cabins
Just 30 miles north of Lawrence are the Fair Greens Country Cabins in Jackson. Jackson is also home to two 18-hole public golf courses. The Fair Greens Country Cabins boast six cabins, each with different amenities. All have fully equipped kitchens, front or back porches, satellite television, DVD players, gas grills, fireplaces and hot tubs. Cabins are either one or two-bedrooms.

Creekside Cabins & RV Park
Just south of Lawrence and over the border into Kentucky--right down Highway 23--are the Creekside Cabins. Cabins here are two-bedroom and have full kitchens, private bathrooms, cable televisions, central air and heating and large front porches with cozy rocking chairs for enjoying the views of Blaine Creek. On the property housing the cabins there is a basketball court, a playground, pond, fire pit and picnic shelter. Guests can enjoy fishing in the creek on-site or head over to the Eagle Ridge Golf Course.
