China Restaurant
The China Restaurant is one of just two Chinese establishments in Fairmont. The atmosphere is casual and the restaurant is open for lunch and dinner. The fare is traditional Chinese with an eye toward American palates. The menu is extensive with popular dishes like General Tso's chicken and shrimp egg foo young, featured. Open for dinner or lunch, look for daily lunch specials with offers an entree, side dish and drink for one price. Dinner meals are served family style.

China Buffet of Fairmont
China Buffet of Fairmont offers an all-you-can-eat buffet daily at both lunch and dinner. Part of a growing trend of Asian buffets, dishes are prepared daily, including teriyaki chicken, pineapple chicken, sweet and sour beef and shrimp lo mien. The dinner menu is a little more expensive, but you can expect higher end items on the buffet including steak and crab legs. China Buffet does offer a traditional menu and items can be ordered a la carte.

New China of Jackson
Not too far from Fairmont in Jackson, on the corner of Route 34 and West Ashley, is the New China restaurant. Located just a block from the historic Jackson County courthouse, this small and casual establishment offers a lunch buffet that features a variety of items from the dinner menu for a low fee. Dinner offers a larger variety of choices and meals can be ordered for dine in or to go. New China does offer delivery.
