Shreveport is in the far northeast corner of Louisiana in Caddo Parish. Separated by the Red River, the two cities of Shreveport and Bossier City are referred to as Shreveport-Bossier by residents. Shreveport, more than five hours from New Orleans, hosts its own Mardi Gras festivities. Visitors can play a round at Shreveport Country Club, which has been providing golf to Shreveport since 1909. At night, unwind at one of Shreveport's nightclubs.
Allure Ultra Lounge
As a part of a $1.5 million renovation project at Eldorado Hotel and Casino, Allure Ultra Lounge was born on the second floor of the hotel pavilion. Unique to Shreveport-Bossier, this night club was fashioned after other modern nightclubs. With hues of red, brown, gold and other metallic tones, the overall atmosphere at Allure is luxurious and provocative. Bottle service is available at one of the tables in the comfortable seating area. The large dance floor has a skybox effect as it overlooks the Celebrity Lounge. In addition to an unobstructed view of live musical acts performing at the Celebrity Lounge, flat-screen TVs throughout this venue show sporting events as well. The golden-colored bar serves top-shelf beers, wines and liquors.
