The Rhythm Club
If you're looking for something unique, the Rhythm Club is Los Angeles's hottest swing club. Normally an Elk's lodge, on Wednesday nights this sleepy establishment goes back in time as some of the top big bands around the country play swing, jazz and standards from the 20s, 30s and 40s. Operated by well-known choreographer Rusty Frank, this is a trip back in time, to Hollywood's golden age. The atmosphere is cool and just watching the dancers is a treat. For those too shy to dance, the club offers free lessons on the first Wednesday of the month.
