Freeport Nightclubs

Amnesia is one of the largest nightclubs in the Freeport area. Tourists regularly frequent the club because of the abundance of nearby resorts. Guests can expect a large crowd on most Friday and Saturday nights. The atmosphere is loud and crazy, yet maintained. The house DJ plays a variety of music ranging from hip-hop to trance to Caribbean. Scheduled performances include local artists as well as some international ones. Come relax during happy hour. There is no formal dress code; casual attire is acceptable.

Club Rock & Roll is most popular for its theme nights--with a new one every day. As of February 2010, the hotel features karaoke on Monday and Thursday. On Tuesday and Friday, the club opens its stage for open mic and local musicians. On Wednesday, the hotel features nothing but reggae music. Saturday and Sunday night is left open for a variety of entertainment including dance and live contests. The club has a restaurant that offers a bar menu which includes both American and Bahamian cuisines.

For tourists that want to experience the truly wildest side of Freeport, Illusions is the place. This mixed-crowd club attracts a lot of tourists and local Bahamian natives that want to spend the night dancing. Depending on what is on the schedule for the night, you might find stand-up comedy, live music, karaoke or a live DJ playing Caribbean, techno and American hits. The club offers a wide range of cocktails, beer, wines and tropical hors d'oeuvres. Last call is usually around 2 a.m. so come early and be ready for a good time.
