Blaine, Minnesota is the home of the National Sports Center Olympic training facility. Located in nearby Fridley, Taste of Thailand II is the sister restaurant to the popular Taste of Thailand in St. Paul. The extensive menu offers more than 80 items, including Pram ram long song, pad Thai and monsoon curry, sticky rice with peanut sauce and special spring rolls. Housed in a former chain restaurant (the Country Kitchen), the establishment is unassuming and the dishes are simple but plentiful. Prices are reasonable and a lunch buffet is offered every day. Reservations are not needed and take-out is available.

Lemon Grass Thai Cuisine offers an eclectic menu with such unique items as crazy duck, paradise shrimp and insane chicken.
