The Country Cabin
The Country Cabin is a rental option approximately 20 miles east of Crumpler, right next to the Camp Creek State Forest, and one that is especially popular for rent during the winter months because of this cabin's close proximity to the Winterplace Ski Resort. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate that five different state parks are located within a 30-minute drive, and the Bluestone Mountain Peak is the closest named mountain top in the area, which can be seen from the Country Cabin on a clear day. This cabin was built in the early 1900s, but boasts modern amenities such as refrigerator, satellite TV, microwave, oven, gas grill, and a fully-stocked kitchen. The Country Cabin is a single cabin, not a group of cabins, so plenty of time should be given before making a full reservation.

Hidden Path Cabins
Two cabins make up "Hidden Path Cabins." Visiting golfers have their choice between Seth's Place or Hunter's Loft. These cabins are located approximately 22 miles south of Crumpler, and are less than eight miles from two separate golf courses: the Fincastle Country Club and the Princeton Elks Golf Course. Both of these cabins are on eight acres of land, and were built in 2008. Seth's Place can comfortably sleep four people, while Hunter's Loft can comfortably sleep six. Both cabins provide modern amenities like cable TV, wireless Internet, microwave, coffee pot, refrigerator and sleeper sofas. The Hidden Path Cabins also are located among the unnamed Appalachian Mountains, although they are only a 25-minute drive from the Winterplace Ski Resort and Flattop Mountain.
