Lowery's Camp Albert Pike
The eight cabins available at Lowery's Camp in the Ouachita National Forest are located on Little Missouri River. The duplex cabins are furnished and both smoking and nonsmoking units are available. Cabins are equipped with bed linens, but guests must bring towels and cooking equipment. Swimming and hiking trails are close to the lodging and an archaeological dig in the park is within walking distance. A family-run grocery store offers food for visitors wishing to grill outdoors and dine on the picnic tables by the cabins. Restaurants, including the Little Italy Italian and Fishnest Family restaurants in Glenwood, are located less than a 15-minute drive from the cabins. Animals are not permitted in the cabins or outdoor areas surrounding the lodgings.

Bean Creek Cabins
For visitors looking for rustic lodging, the Bean Creek Cabins are an excellent choice. The three rental log cabins date from the 1850s and each has interesting lore. Jesse James, for instance, was rumored to have visited on one of the cabin porches. The cabins have been modernized and now feature private baths and eating areas with microwaves and refrigerators. Linens are provided as part of the cabin rental fee. One cabin has a small kitchen area, and all of the accommodations offer outdoor grilling facilities. The cabins are located are just minutes away from Lake Ouachita and less than a 15-minute drive from DeGray and Greeson Lakes. Golfing at Glenwood is just a five-minute drive. Meals may be arranged with the cabin administration or visitors may elect to drive to Glenwood, approximately ten minutes away, to eat at Susie's Kountry Kitchen or the El Diamante Mexican restaurants.

Arrowhead Cabin Rentals
Arrowhead Cabin Rentals also rents canoes for use on the Caddo River, located next to the cabins. In addition to river swimming and boating opportunities, the cabins also have volleyball and basketball courts and a horse shoe pitching area. One- and two-bedroom cabins are available to sleep two to five guests for one nightly fee. Linens and towels are not provided. Grill at the cabins or eat at local restaurants. Smokey Joe's BBQ and the Pizza Shack are a short drive from the cabins in the nearby town of Glenwood. The closest golf course is also in the town of Glenwood.
