Salton Sea, California Restaurants
At nearly 228 feet below sea level, the Salton Sea is California's largest lake. As it only has a depth of 20 feet, there are a limited amount of recreational activities here. One pastime is golfing at the Borrego Springs Country Club Resort, which is less than 30 miles east of the shoreline. For dining, there are several restaurants at the Salton Sea and in cities surrounding it.

The Alamo Restaurant

The Alamo Restaurant is located in Salton City on the eastern shore of the Salton Sea. This family-friendly restaurant is casual and features outdoor seating. The staff here is bilingual, and though the fare is predominately Mexican, burgers and sandwiches are also served. Inside is a market that serves ingredients for traditional Mexican dishes.
