San Antonio River Walk Vacations
The San Antonio River Walk is located in San Antonio, Texas and is the most popular tourist attraction in Texas, according to the Paseo del Rio Association, which was founded as a nonprofit organization to support and promote the River Walk. The River Walk is home to many attractions, nightlife and restaurants but golf is nearby. Brackenridge Park Golf Course is an 18-hole championship layout designed for intermediate and advanced players. After a day of golf, stay right on the River Walk at one of several hotels.

Museums and Galleries

When planning a vacation to the San Antonio River Walk, make sure the itinerary includes a stop at some of the museums and galleries in the area. The Buckhorn Museum and Saloon is four museums in one and features historical artifacts that go back more than 400 years. Check out the mounted animals, the collection of feathers and the many displays of horns. The The Hall of Texas History Wax Museum proudly displays scenes of old-time Texas and gives an education of life back then. The Briscoe Western Art Museum tells the story of the American West and the people who endured and developed it. Learn the history in a fun environment.
