Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen
Located in Hobby Airport's central concourse Food and Beverage court, only ticketed passengers may access this particular venue. This Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen offers a full range menu of seafood selections as the main course. Non-seafood eaters are not neglected as this restaurant offers three filet mignon dishes as well as a rib-eye steak, charbroiled chicken and even alligator appetizers. Bisques, etouffee, gumbo, salads, burgers and po-boys round out the meal selections.
Seafood is the restaurant's forte and can be had as basic as shrimp cocktail, crab, oysters, crawfish or calamari or as creative recipes such as "blackened catfish" made with blackened oysters, shrimp and crabmeat in lemon garlic butter over dirty rice. "Hazelnut-crusted tilapia" is another house creation, hand-crafted with mahi-mahi, yellow fin, scallops and salmon. Desserts and a full bar and wine list round out the menu.

Hunan Return of the Phoenix
This Hunan-style (which usually entails spicy preparation) Chinese cuisine restaurant is a quick counter a la shopping mall food courts, as opposed to a small sit-down restaurant like Pappadeaux. Houstonians and visitors have commented favorably about the excellent quality of customer service, as well as on some of its various menu items, such as its sweet and spicy chicken, and most especially, Hunan Return of the Phoenix's version of sweet and sour soup.

Pappasito's Cantina
Dine-in or to-go meals are available at Pappasito's Cantina. the Mexican fare venue is also located in the ticketed-passenger only concourse, like Pappadeaux's and Hunan Return of the Phoenix. Owned by the same parent company as the former, Pappasito's offers a melange of dishes you might see at local American-styled Mexican food counters. Tacos, quesadillas, fajitas, enchiladas and nachos are offered with chicken, beef, cheese or beans as the main ingredient. Tacos offer the same with the edition of fish. What makes Pappasito's minutely different from the local drive-thru is the available sides of tamales as singles or in six- to 12-packs; breakfast tacos; tortilla soup; and selections of beer, wine and margaritas.
