Liebman's Delicatessen
This kosher landmark restaurant has been a family tradition in the Riverdale section of the Bronx since 1953. Liebman's serves authentic Jewish delicatessen cuisine, including homemade pastrami rubbed with pepper, sugar and salt, and then smoked. Corned beef, pigs in blankets and traditional round knishes are also specialties of the house. The extensive menu includes sandwiches, soup, appetizers and entrees. Combinations sandwiches such as brisket, pastrami, cole slaw and Russian dressing are popular. Entrees include roasted chicken and rib eye steak.

The Ginger Grill is a kosher Asian steakhouse under the supervision of the Vaad Harabanim of Riverdale. The restaurant serves Asian style steaks along with Chinese cuisine. This restaurant considers itself a part of the "kosher revolution" presenting fine kosher food of high quality in a comfortable atmosphere at moderate prices. as of early 2010, chef Hui HsienChow developed a menu including Chinese specialties appreciated by patrons.
