Myrtle Beach is a coastal town in South Carolina near Surfside Beach that is home to more than 100 golf courses. One of these is the River Oaks Golf Plantation, which has 27 holes of golf on the site of a former nature preserve. In addition to offering lessons at the Glen Davis Golf School, it has been nominated to the Top 100 instructors by Golf Magazine. Myrtle Beach is also home to several new restaurants for your dining pleasure.

Black River Grill

Though the Black River Grill has not been open long, it is run by Kurt Klepper who has seven years in restaurant management in the Grand Strand area. This casual restaurant is welcoming with hues matching the geographical area it is set in. The decor includes a myriad of black and white photographs with Black River-themed depictions of live oaks, boat landings and waterscapes. The Black River Grill also has a cozy bar and outdoor patio area, adding additional seating options. The menu has a host of options such as the coconut lobster and seared tuna sandwiches. Dinner entrees include certified Angus prime rib and sliced duck breast.

California Dreaming

California Dreaming is a restaurant that has a family-friendly atmosphere filled with a plethora of seating booths, dark woods, plenty of plants and earth-tone hues. The American food served here is affordable and comes in large portions. Catering is available for groups of 6 to 12 people. In addition to its appetizers, famous nachos, entree salads and sandwiches, the menu also has dinner entrees such as filet mignon, oven roasted salmon and baby back ribs.

Fogo Do Brazil Steakhouse

Offering guests a dining experience rooted in the traditions found in the Pampas of southern Brazil, Fogo Do Brazil is Myrtle Beach's premier steak house. The dining room is a charming setting that is elegantly designed and authentically South American with its black linen table coverings and brightly covered walls. The style of cooking done here is that of the Brazilian gaucho, which involves slow roasting skewered meats. Dinner is served with a salad and includes a choice from 15 different selections of beef, pork, lamb and poultry.
