Suburban Chicago Karaoke Bars

Suburban Chicago Karaoke Bars
People in Chicagoland know how to throw down and have a good time. Golf courses are numerous in the Second City and surrounding area, ranging from upscale Bryn Mawr Country Club in the north suburb of Lincolnwood to Prestwick Country Club in southwest Frankfort. The good-natured and boisterous suburbanites love to let loose, so trade in your golf clubs for a microphone and get ready for a duet rendition of "Sweet Home Chicago."

Zante Lounge & Eatery

Zante Lounge & Eatery attracts crowds from the southwest suburbs. Zante is 10 miles north of the Prestwick Country Club, just north of Interstate 80. According to Sing Chicago, the karaoke database for clubs in the Chicago area, the lounge has it all--food, beverages and karaoke. The bar serves top-shelf spirits and domestic and imported beers. A full menu includes such entrees as linguine, pizza and sandwiches. Zante is open from 11 a.m. until 2 a.m. daily, with the karaoke showcases from 9:30 p.m. until 2 a.m. Tuesdays. You can choose among books of songs ranging from oldies to new pop numbers. The karaoke queue can get a bit long, so be sure to write in your requested song early in the evening.

Little Italian Pizza and Pub

A neighborhood watering hole in the northwest suburb of Buffalo Grove, Little Italian Pizza and Pub is a restaurant and karaoke bar in an otherwise nondescript strip mall. The regular patrons are on a first-name basis with the servers and karaoke DJ, creating an intimate family feeling. The authentic Italian cuisine is served until the wee hours of the morning, including generous portions of pastas, lasagnas, pizza and hot sub sandwiches. Karaoke is on every Friday night, and some Sunday nights. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. until 1 a.m. Mondays through Thursdays, until 2 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays and until midnight Sundays. This is the place to practice your rendition of "Bohemian Rhapsody" in a nonjudgmental crowd.
