The Lakeside Motel is best suited for those who don't plan on spending much time in their room because the motel doesn't provide many amenities and it hasn't been renovated in quite awhile. Guest rooms are clean, but the only amenities are a private bathroom with shower/tub combo and a color television with basic cable lineup.

Holiday Inn Express
In the late 2000s, the Holiday Inn Express began offering two-room suites, in addition to the standard rooms. Features found in all rooms include a plasma television, luxury bedding, a coffee maker, ironing board, iron and hairdryer. During the week, the hotel serves cookies in the lobby and coffee is offered 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A continental breakfast is offered every morning in the lobby and the hotel is only 10 minutes from Laurel.

Relax Inn
Formerly known as The Marathon Inn, the Relax Inn in Laurel is a budget-style motel. Guest rooms come with a microwave and mini-fridge. The hotel was built in the 1950s, but during 2005, the new owners renovated the entire hotel. All rooms have exterior entrances, but the parking lot is well lit and someone is always at the front desk.
