Morty's in the heart of the Notre Dame de Grace district touts itself as the first New York-style kosher steakhouse in Montreal. Its abundant culinary offerings feature meat that is aged for 28 days to achieve utmost tenderness. Morty's serves up such specialties as 24-ounce rib steak, grilled meat, fish, kosher filet and kosher filet mignon, along with an extensive wine list. Casalinga

Casalinga offers kosher dishes with Italian and French influences. The menu includes brick-oven pizza, pasta, salmon filet with mushrooms, kosher shrimp with butter, garlic and fresh tomatoes and crepes with spinach and mushrooms. Chez Benny

Chez Benny has served Montreal's Jewish community since 1991. Its cuisine shows influences ranging from Chinese and Ahkenazi to Mediterranean and American. Menu items include kefta, mergez and schawarma, snitzel, shish taouk stick and a variety of smoked and grilled meats. In addition to vegetarian dishes, the restaurant showcases myriad Asian offerings from chicken chow mein to black bean chicken and orange beef.
