The shoreline off of North Truro is a known hazard, having claimed many boats and the lives of hundreds of sailors over the years. The Cape View Motel‎ is located on the high bluff overlooking these treacherous waters. The motel has a variety of rooms including standard accommodations and efficiency units, each with complimentary HBO. The Moorlands Inn‎ is a turn-of-the-century guest house with 20 acres of land running down to Cape Cod Bay.
