Anytime Fitness
Anytime Fitness is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and every day of the year. Users are given a keycard so they can access the facility during off hours. Members also have privileges at all other Anytime Fitness locations. The club offers a free 7-day membership via email through their website. Cardio equipment at the club includes exercise cycles, treadmills, stair climbers, Sci Fit UBE and cross-trainers. Free weights, kettle bells and selectorized circuits are used for weight training. Personal trainers, classes and balance training are available. Anytime Fitness maintains private bathrooms and showers. 24-hour security is provided for both the club and parking lot.

Curves
Curves is open Monday through Saturday and is closed midday for 2 hours. The club is geared toward women and a free one-week pass is available via email through the Curves website. Focus is placed on a 30-minute workout that includes cardio and strength training that can burn up to 500 calories. Circuit coaches make sure the routine is done properly. Weight management options include a personalized plan with an online support group and weight management classes. Curves sells a proprietary line of vitamin and supplements. Members receive a subscription to diane magazine which not only publishes articles and interviews but also covers topics like eating disorders and domestic violence.

Spectrum Athletic Club
Spectrum Athletic Club is 3 miles west of the center of Schertz. This family-friendly operation has a Kids Club, racquetball courts and an indoor swimming pool as well as cardio and weight machines. The Kids Club offers supervised play and instruction. The whirlpool, steam room and sauna are reserved for adults and there is a women's only workout area. Group classes are offered and include pilates, tai chi and yoga. Personal trainers provide individual instruction and support. Three-day guest passes can be downloaded from the club's website. Spectrum offers corporate wellness packages that include disease management programs and health risk assessments. The club has a dietician on staff. The club is open daily.
