Il Fornello is a small chain of upscale Italian restaurants in the Toronto area. The King Street location is approximately seven miles from the 45 holes of golf featured at Lambton Golf & Country Club. The restaurant offers eight appetizers to begin the meal, including marinated olives and grilled crostini with mushrooms and goat cheese. The menu includes a variety of pasta dishes, such as the sauteed mushrooms and beef tenderloin tips served over rigatoni in a brandy cream sauce and shaved Parmesan cheese. Pizzas are also found on the menu, including one topped with marscapone cheese, figs, prosciutto, Parmesan cheese, honey, arugula and lemon olive oil.
