Monterey Bay is a popular destination for golfers who not only want to tee off at golf courses such as Pebble Beach and Spanish Bay, but who also want to spend time away from the golfing green and stroll along Cannery Row or walk along miles of beach. There are many hotels to choose from in Monterey, some of which have handicap access and rooms equipped for those who are disabled.

Spindrift Inn

The Spindrift Inn is a boutique hotel in the heart of Monterey's historical Cannery Row, made famous by novelist John Steinbeck, and is now a popular destination for tourists in Monterey. A romantic oceanfront location with rooms that include wood-burning fireplaces, the Spindrift Inn also provides rooms and areas with handicapped access. All guests can enjoy afternoon wine and cheese reception, a silver-tray continental breakfast and nightly turn-down service.

Within walking distance of the popular Monterey Bay Aquarium on Cannery Row, the Monterey Bay Inn features handicap access and over-sized rooms with ocean views. Best Western Beach Resort

Located on Del Monte Beach, Best Western Beach Resort is just a 10-minute drive from Cannery Row and a 15-minute drive to Pebble Beach's golf courses. The hotel offers handicapped access and is large, featuring 196 rooms, some of which have views of Monterey Bay and direct access to the beach. There's a $10 parking fee per day, and amenities include cable TV, free local calls up to 30 minutes, free Internet access, mini-fridge, in-room safe and an on-site pool.
