Tucson, Arizona, is a desert town known for year-round golfing, a bustling university atmosphere and a backdrop of mountains you can see in every direction. At night, the temperature drops, and the nightlife scene heats up. Whether you're looking for a Latin groove, hip-hop beats or throwback tunes from the 1980s and 1990s, Tucson has a dance club that fits the bill, and most are no more than a few minutes' drive from a golf course.
Club Congress
Club Congress, which is housed in a historic hotel in downtown Tucson, has been named the city's "Best Place to Dance" more than five times by readers of the Tucson Weekly newspaper. The club's decor is as eclectic as its live shows, which feature local, national and international acts. Local and guest DJs also spin dance tunes nightly. Club Congress is less than 15 minutes from some of Tucson's premiere golf resorts, including the Hilton-managed El Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort, which features 45 holes of golf, and the Omni Tucson Resort & Spa, which has two 18-hole courses and has hosted PGA tournaments.

Level Lounge
Level Lounge is the closest thing Tucson has to a big-city nightclub. The dance club decor is all shine and sparkle. The walls are metallic gold, and a 24-karat gold chandelier greets customers in the lounge. Level is one of the few dance clubs in Tucson with a dress code, and it bans flip-flops, standard footwear in "The Old Pueblo," as Tucson is known to the local inhabitants. The dance club is in northwest Tucson in an upscale shopping plaza and is less than 5 miles from the Westin La Paloma Golf Resort, which has a 27-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course available to its members and their guests.

DV8
The owners of DV8 like to change things up, so each night offers a different style of music. The lineup includes pop, hip-hop, Latin, 1980s and 1990s sounds and techno. The dance floor is in the middle of the club, with a main bar and satellite bars surrounding it. DV8 also has two pool tables and a big-screen TV. DV8 is less than 5 miles from Dorado Golf Course, an 18-hole, par 62 public course in central Tucson and less than 10 minutes from Randolph Golf Course, a city-owned course that has hosted LPGA and PGA tournaments.
