24 Hour Fitness
It's no surprise that 24 Hour Fitness, one of the biggest gym chains in the United States, has a presence in Las Vegas. In fact, there are 14 of the gyms within the Greater Las Vegas area. Those staying in the most popular area of the city, the Las Vegas Strip, are closest to the Tropicana and West Sahara Sport clubs. If you're on the south end of the Strip, the Tropicana Sport Club is your best option. It contains all the amenities that the standard 24 Fitness includes, such as free weights, a large cardio area, group exercise classes and a kid's club, as well as a sauna, steam room, whirlpool, lap pool and basketball court. The West Sahara Sport Club on the northern end of the Strip contains all these amenities, along with a massage salon. Both clubs offer open enrollment seven days a week during business hours for those who aren't members, as well as seven-day guest passes for non-member friends. The Las Vegas Country Club isn't far from the West Sahara Sport, while the Bali Hai is just a few miles from the Tropicana Sport.

Gold's Gym
Like 24 Hour Fitness, there are multiple Gold's Gyms in Las Vegas, with six stretching from North Las Vegas to Henderson. And once again, the ones closest to the Strip have the best hours, with Gold's Gym Las Vegas Centennial and Gold's Gym Las Vegas East remaining open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Gold's Gym has all the traditional gym equipment, but also boasts an array of innovative workout programs, including Cardio Cinema, which allows club visitors to watch a feature film on a big screen while they workout. Group classes range from the standard step and interval training classes to trendy workouts such as Zumba or belly dancing. Desert Pines Golf Club is close to the Centennial club, and Royal Links Golf Club isn't far from the East club.
