It's difficult to give a reason why golf is so popular in Memphis, Tennessee, but players hit the courses there almost year-round. Some play tracks like The Links At Audubon, which has been around for over 50 years and is fairly easy, having a slope rating of only 111. Others step up the challenge and play courses like the one at Chickasaw Country Club, which is over 6,600 yards long and carries a slope rating of 128. Regardless of the courses you play, you're likely to be hungry following your round. Memphis has many 3-star restaurants from which you can choose.
