Paris, Ontario, is a small town at the junction of the Grand River and the Nith River. Within 15 miles of Paris, visitors can find larger urban centers in Ontario, such as Kitchener, Brantford and London. The town of Paris is home to the Paris Star, a weekly newspaper that reports stories and features for Brant County and the town of Paris. In the area, visitors can find several bed and breakfast hotels and the Paris Golf & Country Club. Paris also is the place where the first "long distance" telephone call was made by Alexander Graham Bell. Guests who are in town during Labor Day weekend can enjoy the annual Fall Fair.

Asa Wolverton House is a bed and breakfast that is run by Rick and Judy Courtemanche. The Asa Wolverton House is a historic home with five bedrooms all with fireplace, queen beds, telephone, Wi-Fi access and cable TV. Shared amenities include hot tubs, washer, dryer, decks, refrigerator, stove and toaster. There is a breakfast served daily that can be enjoyed on a top veranda, lower patio or indoor dining room. The breakfast is all you can eat and is the guests' choice. Vegetarian options are available. The Asa Wolverton House overlooks the Grand River, and guests can go canoeing.

RiverRidge Bed & Breakfast

RiverRidge Bed & Breakfast has three rooms that are more like suites. Fully cooked breakfasts are served in the dining room year-round Friday through Sunday and daily in July and August. A continental breakfast is served to guests Monday through Thursday from September through June. The bed and breakfast will make a breakfast during the week for guests who request more than a continental breakfast. Breakfast includes raspberry pancakes, Southwestern-style egg tortillas, bacon, eggs and sausage. Guests can enjoy telephones, Wi-Fi access, queen beds, and private bathrooms.
