Cooper's Seafood House
Coopers is a Scranton institution. It dates back to 1948. With an exterior that looks like a ship, the restaurant can take diners on a trip far from the Pennsylvania mountains. Cooper's also has a lighthouse bar, a tiki bar deck and a whale room. Cooper's has won many local awards for its seafood. Menu highlights include Brazilian rock lobster tail, deviled Maryland crab cakes and the beef and reef sautee, including lobster, shrimp, beef and mushrooms. There are plenty of non-seafood selections available, as well as sandwiches, salads and soups. Cooper's serves lunch and dinner seven days a week, and takeout is also available.
