Great Exuma is the largest of the Bahamas' Exumas archipelago. It is a popular tourist destination known for its unspoiled beaches and miles of offshore reefs, caves and coves teeming with marine life. Golfers are especially drawn to the island for Golf Course Great Exuma at Emerald Bay, an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Greg Norman. The course was named the "Third Best Golf Course in the Caribbean" by Travel + Leisure Golf magazine in 2008.

Grande Isle Resort and Spa

This villa-only resort is located on Great Exuma's eastern coast, adjacent to the Golf Course Great Exuma at Emerald Bay. All 78 villas offer views of the ocean or golf course and have one to four bedrooms. Standard amenities include a 50-inch plasma television in the living room, LCD-screen televisions in all bedrooms, a full gourmet kitchen with high-end appliances. Room rates include a daily continental breakfast, welcome bottle of wine and round-trip airport transfers, among other services. Palm Bay Beach Club

Palm Bay Beach Club is a resort offering panoramic views of Elizabeth Harbour and Stocking Island. The resort has 70 beachside or harbor-view villas available. Choose from studios and one-, two-, or three- bedroom units, with an extra roll-away bed available upon request. All of the villas are air conditioned and include cable televisions, king or queen beds and either a kitchenette or full kitchen.

Palm Bay Beach Clubs offers guests a variety of guided tours and activities. Visit the wilder south side of the island or take a trip to Crab Cay, the largest island in Elizabeth Harbour. Try sea kayaking, kite surfing, or for something a bit more sedate, relax on the white sand beach and snorkel in the warm Caribbean waters.

Beach Inn Exuma

The Beach Inn is an intimate luxury boutique hotel. It offers 16 spacious suites just steps from the beach, all with views of the Caribbean. All the suites feature premium bed linens and plush down bedding, oversized marble bathrooms with rain showers and cable televisions. The inn also has private balconies overlooking the resort's heated outdoor swimming pool.

There is a range of onsite activities available at the resort including snorkeling, sea kayaking and reef fishing. The concierge can assist you with making tee times and arranging transportation to and from the Greg Norman Golf Course at Emerald Bay. The hotel staff can also arrange bonefishing, scuba diving and deep sea fishing excursions.
