Kure Beach Oceanfront Hotels in North Carolina
Nestled on the laid-back, family-friendly Pleasure Island, Kure Beach offers golfers a quiet vacation spot with plenty of golf courses within an hour's drive, such as Beau Rivage, Landfall and Echo Farms. If you want to stay close to the beach, there are several small oceanfront hotels in Kure Beach, well-suited for a family vacation, a golfing holiday or a romantic getaway.

Admiral's Quarters

Located in the heart of Kure Beach, Admiral's Quarters is a short walk from restaurants, shops and the Kure Beach Fishing Pier. Nearly all the rooms here are oceanfront, with private balconies overlooking the surf. Catch the sunrise from their oceanfront gazebo, take a stroll along the wide stretch of sand in front of the hotel, or while away the afternoon at one of the Admiral's Quarters' two oceanfront pools. Choose a room on the ground floor to get a private balcony furnished with rocking chairs, ideal for true relaxation.

Palm Air Cottages

Palm Air Realty rents out various properties on Pleasure Island, but some of the most popular are the Palm Air Cottages in Kure Beach, located just steps from the Atlantic, the restaurants and shops in the town's center, and the Kure Beach Fishing Pier. The cottages are small, but clean and comfortable, and most of your time will likely be spent outdoors anyway, enjoying the beach, the links and the charm of this small beach town. For a real treat, call far in advance to book Cottage 7, the "Tree House," that offers some of the best views on the island.

The inn offers both regular hotel rooms as well as efficiencies, and you can make use of the outdoor grills for a fresh, homemade meal in the comfort of your lodging. The oceanfront pool and kiddie pool are an ideal place to while away the afternoon, or you can walk just down the block to the center of Kure Beach, where you'll find arcades, restaurants, shops and the fishing pier that is usually bustling with activity. The Seven Seas Inn is open from April through the end of November, but call far in advance to book your spot at the inn.
