Longboat Key Club and Resort
Longboat Key Club and Resort is nestled among the waters and white sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. This luxurious spectacle includes the Islandside course that borders the gulf and the Harbourside course, which is along Sarasota Bay. Rated among the country's finest golf experience, these courses include 45 holes of championship golfing. The Islandside course is also referred to as the "watery challenge," with 18 holes that require accuracy on its Tifdwarf grass. The Harbourside course is a 27-hole layout, with three nine-hole courses designed by William Byrd.

Misty Creek Country Club
Misty Creek Country Club is a private, member-owned club that offers guests an exceptional golfing experience. As the only course in southwest Florida situated on a wildlife preserve, it has its own bald eagles. The championship course has fairways bordered by dense vegetation and oak tree forests. It has been recognized by Audubon International for its environmental excellence. This par-72 golf course, on 350 acres that includes lakes, has four sets of tees, measuring more than 5,000 yards from the front tees to 6,895 from the back tees. Misty Creek also has a pro shop fit for PGA professionals, summer playing privileges at most area clubs and active men's and women's golf associations.

TPC Prestancia
TPC Prestancia is a private club that features two 18-hole championship courses and a Mediterranean-style clubhouse that features banquet facilities and meeting places. Membership information requests can be made online. Since opening in 1985, TPC Prestancia has hosted eight Chrysler Cup Tournaments and five American Express Invitational tournaments. The 36 challenging holes of the Stadium and Club courses are located in the Palmer Ranch area of Sarasota and sit upon 565 acres of lush landscapes. The Club course is classically designed, while the Stadium course was designed with difficulty in mind.
