Ogunquit is located in southeast Maine along the coast. It is not an overly popular golfing location as there is just one golf course within the official boundaries of the town. It does, however, host a few attractions, such as the beach and sea kayaking. For vacationers, the town's appeal lies in its proximity to other big draws. In keeping with this, the restaurants match nearby destination cities, such as York, Old Orchard Beach and Saco, serving casual to gourmet breakfast, lunch and dinner. When members of a party, can't decide what to eat, Italian cuisine pleases even the harshest critics.
Julie's Ristorante
Julie's Ristorante and Gift Shoppe opened in 1977. It began as a family owned and operated restaurant; it remains so to this day. Despite the formal name, Julie's Ristorante is casual as serves classic Italian cuisine. The menu includes eggplant subs with mozzarella cheese, pizza, linguini with meatball or chicken parmigiana. The restaurant's location near the coast of Maine helps the staff to procure fresh seafood and create dishes, such as fettuccini alfredo with lobster or Maryland Lump Crab Cakes. Gluten-free creations, such as gluten-free pizza, set Julie's Ristorante apart from other similar casual, low-key eateries in the area. Cape Neddick Country Club is a semi private course near the restaurant. The 18-hole course is semi-private and has a par of 71.

Amore Breakfast
A limited number of Italian restaurants exist in Ogunquit; it's a small town. Serving only the first meal of the day, Amore Breakfast possesses an Italian influence. The mild influence stems from the owner and operator, who has Italian roots. With over 15 years in business, Amore Breakfast offers a menu tested by time. The reasonably priced restaurant offers 14 varieties of omelets, such as the Oscar Madison with crabmeat, asparagus, Swiss and bernaise sauce. The restaurant also creates eight versions of the classic Eggs Benedict with ingredients, such as bacon, zucchini, and lobster. The specialty of the restaurant is the French toast stuffed with cream cheese. The restaurant creates about four toppings for the French toast, which draws in tourists and locals. Located about eight and a half miles from the Amore Breakfast, the Ledges Golf Club is an 18-hole golf course with a par of 72. The slope ranges between 126 and 138 depending on the tee.
