Hilton Harrisburg
The Hilton at Strawberry Square is also located within convenient commuting distance of most of the golf courses in central Pennsylvania, but guests receive no special deals at any of those courses. The hotel itself gets a three-diamond rating from AAA, and one of its three restaurants, the Golden Sheaf, has a AAA four-diamond rating and requires business attire to dine there. Another of the restaurants, Raspberries, is also known for its excellent food and casual but elegant atmosphere, but with so many restaurants close to Strawberry Square on Restaurant Row, the only dining problem you'll have is making a restaurant selection. As the Strawberry Square area is located right downtown, its hotels are also easy walking distance to the state Capitol, the Susquehanna waterfront, and City Island Park. With 341 rooms, reserving a room at the Hilton is also easy most times of the year.

Comfort Inn Riverfront
The Comfort Inn near the Strawberry Square area is located on Front Street, which, as the name implies, sits right on the Susquehanna River. Its location at the Second Street off ramp of Interstate 83 places it within minutes of the area's golf courses as well, and its proximity to Strawberry Square places it within a few minutes walking distance of the square and Restaurant Row. However, if you like Indian food, you might just want to eat at the hotel restaurant, Passage to India.
The restaurant has been voted the best Asian cuisine in the Harrisburg area by the Harrisburg Patriot-News readers' poll for many years, and the price is quite reasonable for the quality of the meal. Other hotel amenities include an outdoor swimming pool that overlooks the waterfront. In spite of having only 114 rooms, the Comfort Inn is a few blocks away from the downtown area, which keeps the price somewhat reasonable but also makes reservations easy to get most of the year.
