Brackenridge Park Golf Course
Brackenridge Park Golf Course, located in Brackenridge Park, is the oldest of the six public courses. Open since 1916, this 18-hole course was the originating site of the PGA Winter Tour. Designed by well-known golf architect A.W. Tillinghast, this golf course was rewarded with being the first golf course to be recognized in the Texas Registry of Historic Sites.

Willow Springs

This course is known for its open fairways and elevated greens. Open since 1923, this course features the largest hole in the city, a 663-yard par-five hole.

Riverside
Riverside Golf Course, a beginner course, is appropriate for golfers of all skills as well as families. This course, south of downtown San Antonio, features an 18-hole layout and a nine-hole course, with many holes along the San Antonio River. Open since 1961, this golf course resides on the site where Teddy Roosevelt and the Rough Riders trained.

Olmos Basin, located north of downtown San Antonio, is a municipal golf course. Open since 1963, it was designed by George Hoffman. This course is set on 6,870 yards. It has been the site of several amateur championships.
