A wintertime paradise and one of the most notorious nightlife destinations in the United States, the South Beach area of Miami Beach is full of night clubs. Golfers often visit the Miami Beach area to play one of the scenic greens, like the Bayshore Golf Course, within walking distance of South Beach itself. After a day on the green, the clubs of South beach are ready to show you why the area is so popular.

Cameo

Cameo is a large night club housed in an old movie theater. It is in the heart of South Beach at Washington Avenue and Espanola Way. Cameo hosts a different DJ dance party most nights of the week as well as record-release parties and special events, such as girls night out and the annual New Year's Eve bash. Table and bottle service are offered, and the VIP section is available for birthday parties and groups.

Sobe Live

Sobe Live is a large hip-hop club on Washington Avenue near the intersection of 12th Street. Given the award of Best Hip Hop Venue in the nation by VH-1, Sobe Live hosts the biggest names in hip-hop music live on the main stage several times a month. When there is not a live performance at Sobe Live, the club is open for DJ dance parties and a variety of special events. Sobe Live has a full bar and a VIP section with table service.

The Playwright Irish Pub

The Playwright Irish Pub is a traditional Irish Pub and night club on Washington Avenue near the intersection of 13th Street. The Playwright hosts live DJs who spin the latest dance tunes as well as classic hits from the '80s and '90s every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. On other nights, the Playwright is a popular local hang-out and shows live sporting events on the flat-screen television. The Playwright Irish Pub serves a full traditional pub food menu that includes several dinner entree selections, like the New Zealand rack of lamb and the pan-roasted filet of salmon.
