Esan Cuisine of Thailand
Located in the Park Ave neighborhood of Rochester, Esan is centrally located near many other restaurants and shops, and close to downtown. Dinner entrees include items such as shrimp panang, lemongrass beef and kang pet vegetable. Affordably-priced lunch specials that come with steamed rice are offered six days.
Esan offers a selection of beer and wine and specialty drinks including Thai ice coffee. It's open Monday through Saturday for lunch and dinner and closed Sundays.

Siam is located in Corn Hill Landing, just outside of downtown Rochester. In addition to indoor dining, it offers an outdoor patio with views of the Genesee River and downtown Rochester. Highlights of the menu include the traditional papaya salad (sum tum), crabmeat rangoons, curries and noodle dishes. Restaurant specialties include lemongrass mussels and Siam sesame beef.

SEA Restaurant
SEA Restaurant, in downtown Rochester, is a Vietnamese restaurant that serves many Thai dishes. SEA's specialties include pho, a Vietnamese noodle soup made with beef, chicken or seafood. SEA also offers such traditional Thai fare as fresh spring rolls, rice dishes and noodle dishes.
SEA Restaurant does not serve alcohol. It's open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.

The King and I
The King and I has a longstanding reputation of being one of Rochester's best Thai restaurants. It is the winner of the Reader's Choice Award from 2000 through 2009 by the Democrat and Chronicle. Located about 15 minutes from downtown Rochester, The King and I offers dine-in and takeout.
Lunch specials, which come with a choice of soup and rice and an option to add a spring roll, include shrimp basil yellow noodle and shrimp phat phet. The dinner menu has a selection of entrees for all tastes, including shrimp garlic pepper, sweet and sour duck, and chicken phat phet.
There is a full bar serving a selection of beverages. The King and I is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.

Pattaya Thai is located in Penfield, in Penfield Village on Route 441. It offers dine-in and takeout. In addition to a lunch and a dinner menu, Pattaya also offers a special vegetarian menu. The dinner menu is quite extensive, featuring traditional entrees and specialties like cashew shrimp, tom yum noodle soup and sweet and sour veggies.

Sak's Thai Cuisine
Located in Fairport, about 20 minutes from downtown Rochester, Sak's serves lunch and dinner and offers takeout. Lunch entrees are all affordably priced and include a choice of entree, rice, soup or salad, and a spring roll. The extensive dinner menu includes such traditional entrees as pad thai and gang dang (red curry) and also chef's specialties like pineapple basil shrimp and fish clay pot. Dinner entrees are very reasonably priced.
Sak's offers a full service bar with a choice of beer, wine, and liquor. It's open Monday through Saturday, for lunch and dinner. It's closed on Sundays.
