Coromandel Cuisine of India
Coromandel offers authentic Indian cuisine in an elegant yet relaxed setting. The extensive menu offers an assortment of appetizers, soups, sides, breads and rice. Entrees are either tandoori, seafood, chicken, lamb or vegetarian and offer up dishes such as eggplant with sesame seeds, coconut and tamarind or curried chicken with coriander, cilantro and freshly prepared yogurt. The spacious dining room mixes rich golds and browns with soft pastels that infuse subtle hints of India into the setting. This is Indian cooking that has not been adapted to meet the American palate, and Coromandel's customers show their appreciation by keeping the restaurant filled. Coromandel serves a daily prix fixe lunch buffet Monday through Friday and brunch on the weekends. Dinner is available seven nights per week.

The Upstairs' menu features a variety of appetizers, rice, sides and breads. Entrees are either tandoori, lamb, seafood, meat or classic curries. Popular dishes include tiger shrimp, seabass and calamari in a tomato-coconut broth, stewed fish with cauliflower and potato and garam masala-infused lamb with grape raita. Chili Chicken Indian Twist
Chili Chicken's concept of mixing Indian and Chinese cuisines may be new to the United States, but actually originated in a small Chinese enclave in Calcutta. It is similar to Malaysian cooking with a liberal use of spices. The expertly-prepared menu is divided into sections including the Non-Indian Twist (small plates), Indian Chat Stand (mini meal), The Curry World and The Non-Curry World. Popular dishes include hakka-style butter-pepper shrimp, shredded crispy lamb Peking and chicken Manchurian. The dining room is rather plain, but the prices are very reasonable and the quality of food and daily lunch buffet draws enough people there that the line stretches outdoors. Chili Chicken is open for lunch and dinner seven days per week.
