Anthony Jack's
An American-style restaurant in the heart of downtown Southington, Anthony Jack's specializes in Black Angus steaks and fresh seafood, all cooked over an open wood-fire grill. The casual and sophisticated atmosphere boasts an open kitchen and outdoor dining on the sidewalk patio during warmer months. Family owned and operated and offering daily lunch and dinner specials, Anthony Jack's prides itself on serving good food at an affordable price. To begin your meal, you can find appetizers such as escargot and wild mushrooms in a brandy cream sauce. Milder appetizers are also available for the less adventurous types. After an appetizer, try the coconut chicken salad made with red onions, tomatoes, zucchini, squash and carrots, and topped with a strawberry vinaigrette. House specialties include items such as penne giambotto, a dish made with sausage, chicken and veal in a pepper and onion demi-glace. Private dining is available for up to 130 people, making Anthony Jack's an option for private and business occasions alike. This nonsmoking establishment is closed on Tuesdays and recommends that you make a reservation. The entire menu is also available for takeout.
