Family Resorts in Virginia Beach
With a temperate climate for most of the year, golfing in Virginia Beach is available year-round. While the golfer in the household can play any of the seven courses in the area offered by Hampton Roads Golf Clubs, other family members can enjoy the beach in the spring and summer and many shopping and dining options and other attractions at the beach and in nearby Norfolk all year long. There are a number of family resorts in Virginia Beach to make this a complete vacation for adults and children alike.

Turtle Cay

Turtle Cay Resort is a Key West-inspired property on the beach. The palm trees, family villas and verandas can make guests feel as if they are in a southern Florida destination. Turtle Cay offers one- and two-bedroom suites with wet bars, fully equipped kitchens, jacuzzi tubs and washers and dryers. Each suite has a gas fireplace and furnished patio that overlooks the courtyard with its tree-lined pool and waterfall. Two VIP penthouse suites are available with vaulted ceilings, skylights and a 37-inch television with surround sound. Five restaurants are on site and range from casual dining near the pool to more elegant seafood selections and a pizza joint.
