Cynthia's Ristorante
Sit down at the custom-made bar or a candle-lit antique table and enjoy a meal made with fresh, local ingredients. The menu changes weekly, but offers an extensive list of pastas, seafood and salads among other things. If it's available, try the Involtini of Pork, pork loin stuffed with sweet Italian sausage, roasted peppers, arugula and mozzarella cheese wrapped in bacon and served over homemade potato gnocchi. Save room for a chocolate lava cake with strawberries.

Ristorante di Fratelli
Located in historic downtown Paducah, di Fratelli's combines small-town charm with a big-city dining experience. The "Restaurant of the Brothers" just celebrated its five-year anniversary, and continues to serve dishes and desserts all made in-house. Try a specialty like Veal Verchoise, a pan-seared veal cutlet in a white wine cream sauce served over gnocchi, or opt for a gourmet pizza like the Filet Gorgonzola with filet tips, Alfredo sauce, bacon, tomatoes, red onion and gorgonzola and mozzarella cheeses.

The Pasta House Co.
For a more casual dining experience, head to The Pasta House Co., which serves up great pasta at affordable prices. The menu has a huge selection of pastas, sandwiches, steaks and seafood dishes. They also have a Mangia Bene, or eat well, menu with items that are low calorie, low carb or low in fat. One example is the Chicken Rustico, a grilled chicken breast in a tomato marsala sauce with mushrooms, artichokes, capers and sundried tomatoes. On the way out, pick up some imported Italian items from their on-site store.
