Max Amore Ristorante
Established in 1995, Max Amore has earned a "very good" score of 21 by Zagat Survey. It makes brick-oven pizzas and pasta from the freshest ingredients. The large and comfortable booths provide an intimate setting, and the large, serpentine kitchen shows your chef at work. In addition to pizza and pasta, daily specials, seafood, beef and pork are on the menu. Open daily, the restaurant has various menus for different times of the day, as well as a large and unique wine list. Stopping in for lunch can mean Penne Pomodoro with Pasta Plus, a dish of barilla pasta plus penne, red grape tomatoes, baby spinach, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and basil-infused olive oil. Options for an evening meal include house-made meatballs with spicy plum tomato sauce, Parmesan cheese and grilled garlic crostini, or Fettuccine ai Gamberi, which has fresh fettuccine, sautéed gulf shrimp, sun-dried tomatoes, pesto cream and toasted pine nuts. On weekends, Max Amore opens early to serve brunch, which includes everything from French toast and lox bagels to vegetable frittatas. If there's any room left, check out the dessert menu. A private dining room is available for special events, and Max Amore accommodates special dietary needs.
